Making Dreams Come True
My background is in hospitality, starting as an ambassador for Tennent's brewery in the late 80’s, I then went on to work in events for BMW, Mercedes, Aston Martin and Rolls Royce to name a few.
After this busy time, I decided to explore my creative side and set up Present Solutions Interior Design – working for private clients and property developers.
I have always followed my other great passion – cooking and baking. Starting with the supply of cakes to local cafes and privately commissioned speciality cakes. On the back of this in 2012, I was offered a position in a local restaurant, where I worked for 2 years.
Following this, I moved to a private girls school as catering manager.
Over the last five years, I have worked with Suzanne on a number of events both corporate and private – we share the same passion for food and wine and have a similar eye for detail and quality. We enjoy working together and have jointly built a strong client base.

Vision into Reality
I have loved being in hospitality since 1978. I was fortunate enough to be trained and to work at the high end of the business in London and in Glasgow over a 12 year period before creating Mise en Place in Glasgow in 1990, which I built up over 22 years – establishing a very busy fresh food shop, café/bistro and events company before selling up in 2012.
Since then I have been busy with a few exciting consultancy projects. I have had the privilege over the years of working with some amazing clients both private and corporate.
After some time out, and after much demand I have joined forces with Fiona and together we have a great balance of talent between us, with all the experience we have both gained over the years. Our vision for Twenty Four Carrot is working closely with our clients to help create great parties and events with a personal touch and great food!

Whether at home or at a venue we remove all the stress – leaving you to enjoy your party. We can arrange everything from the marquee to the place cards all tailored to you personally or to your theme of the moment.
Our complete service includes - comprehensive menus, styling ideas and sourcing of fine wines. We work with a number of specialist florists, exciting entertainment agencies, great photographers, creative lighting engineers, imaginative stationers and funky mixology companies to perfectly tailor your event and cover every possible detail.

From a comprehensive all singing, all dancing Bespoke option to our alternative Bistro Service. While maintaining our emphasis on quality and style we can create a more simplified menu and style of service, together with drinks package in order to work within your budget. Tasting just as delicious - our seasonal menus for Bistro are refined in nature, which means less production and service costs, savings that can be passed on to you - a cost-effective equipment range and staffing level allowing you have complete control on your budget.

We work with you, to create an event which is representative of your values and ethos, whilst still delivering exceptional service whatever the
requirement. Our chef team will create exciting menus which will wow your guests, and our talented bar team can design a drinks menu to suit any occasion. Should the event require production elements, we have a number of trusted suppliers who can manage and instruct on your behalf, allowing you to concentrate on the main focus of the event. Our abilities range from providing a simple mood lighting package to a full event design and production service, including venue sourcing, AV and theming ideas to amaze your guests.

We offer a bespoke children’s party service. If you are looking for a unique way to entertain the little ones, be it their birthday party or a family/friends gathering (weddings, holy communion, anniversaries etc), we can tailor to the age and interests of your little chefs whether it’s a themed party ( think Charlie and the chocolate factory, frozen , Alice in Wonderland, princess ) or cupcake decorating and sugar crafts.
We provide chef hats and aprons, recipe sheets and party bags, in short, all the ingredients for a wonderful cooking experience for the little ones, leaving you to enjoy your party.
