My background is in hospitality, starting as an ambassador for Tennent's brewery in the late 80’s, I then went on to work in events for BMW, Mercedes, Aston Martin and Rolls Royce to name a few.
After this busy time, I decided to explore my creative side and set up Present Solutions Interior Design – working for private clients and property developers.
I have always followed my other great passion – cooking and baking. Starting with the supply of cakes to local cafes and privately commissioned speciality cakes. On the back of this in 2012, I was offered a position in a local restaurant, where I worked for 2 years.
Following this, I moved to a private girls school as catering manager.
Over the last five years, I have worked with Suzanne on a number of events both corporate and private – we share the same passion for food and wine and have a similar eye for detail and quality. We enjoy working together and have jointly built a strong client base.

Vision into Reality
I have loved being in hospitality since 1978. I was fortunate enough to be trained and to work at the high end of the business in London and in Glasgow over a 12 year period before creating Mise en Place in Glasgow in 1990, which I built up over 22 years – establishing a very busy fresh food shop, café/bistro and events company before selling up in 2012.
Since then I have been busy with a few exciting consultancy projects. I have had the privilege over the years of working with some amazing clients both private and corporate.
After some time out, and after much demand I have joined forces with Fiona and together we have a great balance of talent between us, with all the experience we have both gained over the years. Our vision for Twenty Four Carrot is working closely with our clients to help create great parties and events with a personal touch and great food!
